Perched half-way between the White House and the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C., the Old Postal Office continues to be one of Washington's top attractions. This ornate building was constructed between the years of 1892 and 1899 and has historically been noted for its innovative architecture. In its time, the Postal Office held claim to being the largest and tallest governmental building in the city; while this is no longer the case, the 270 foot tall bell tower continues to offer a spectacular city view to the curious tourist.
